Anna Tamir is Barrister & Solicitor, licensed to practice law in the province of Ontario. She graduated from Osgoode Hall Law Schoo l in 2007 with an LL.B degree. Anna was called to the Ontario Bar in the year 2008, upon completion of her articles with a criminal defence firm Neuberger Rose LLP (now Neuberger and Partners) in Toronto, Ontario.  

Anna appeared at all level of Ontario courts, conducted trials and arbitrations, having successfully represented hundreds of clients in the course of her career. She is strategic and relentless advocate. 

Anna launched her legal career as insurance defence counsel before shifting her focus to plaintiff-side advocacy in 2010. Over the last 15 years, she has successfully litigated hundreds of employment and insurance files. Currently, she divides her practice between Regulatory Defence and complex Civil Litigation, acting as an advocate for business owners and also for professionals facing disciplinary action.

Prior to attending law school Anna obtained a B.A. (Hons) degree in psychology from  Cleveland State University, graduating with Summa Cum Laude. 

With a background in Psychology and PTSD research, Anna understands the immense stress of a discipline investigation. She brings a unique, compassionate approach to defending clients facing mental health-related allegations. 

From September 2011 until June of 2015 Anna was on a Board of Directors of Brain Injury Society of Toronto (BIST).

Anna is a member of the L aw Society of Ontario Coach and Advisor Network, where she provides lawyers and paralegals with support on practice management issues.  

She also mentors and provides guidance to lawyers and paralegals on substantive and procedural law inquiries. Anna is fully bilingual in English and Russian.
